| PK concerned over relief to surrendered militants | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 21: Panun Kashmir (PK) has expressed its serious concern against a 'sinister' move to make Relief Commissioner's office as a rehabilitating agency for the surrendered terrorists of Kashmir. In a meeting of the Political Affairs committee of Panun Kashmir under the chairmanship of Dr Agnishekhar, members took serious note of repeated attempts of some surrendered terrorists to get registered as migrants at par with the displaced Kashmiri Pandits, the victims of militants' jehadi hatred and violence. Dr Agnishekhar rubbished and condemned such move and cautioned the Relief and. Rehabilitation Commissioner, Vinod Koul, not to allow relief organization to become an instrument of such sinister designs. Panun Kashmir appealed the community to resist this nefarious design with all its might and if need be, Panun Kashmir will gherao the Relief Commissioner's office to prevent any such move of the vested interests fraught with dangerous implications. The state government appears to implement slowly a part of its surrender policy of thousands of Kashmiri terrorists from across the Line of Control (LoC). It is bound to create unrest in Jammu too for executing any such rehabilitation plan of terrorists and their families in Jammu. Moreover, the relief organization has been set up solely and primarily for displaced Kashmiri Pandits and other victims of terrorism and mayhem.
