| Urgent administrative reforms in BOSE imperative: Association | | | early times report Jammu, Apr 22: While discussing the recent unfortunate developments to the exposures related to JK Board's question papers leaking & smuggling of answer sheets, "Jammu Pvt Schools & ETT Institutes Association (Progressive)" in its meeting held today morning, expressed that such shameful and anti national acts have created many doubts among the concerned students and their parents. It further termed the exposures as surprising as the culprits being identified by the police are either government teachers or the Board employees who are recruited against handsome salaries. Association requested the leaders of the employees unions to publicly condemn such acts and to disassociate such element from their membership. Association reiterated its focus on the long delayed urgent administrative reforms in the JK BOSE which is continuously being highlighted by it since last one and half year. While claiming the credit of raising voice for the needed amendments in the existing JK Board Act 1975, members were of the view that with the passage of time & erosion of human values, it should be a prime duty of the sitting legislatures including the ministers to go for a broad base exercise for such amendments. Association expressed its dissatisfaction over the casual work done so for by the school education ministry of the state related to the required amendments and appealed the Chief Minister and other legislatures for bringing in fresh initiatives. Association further appealed the dignitaries to consider their firm view in the context of the bifurcation of the JK BOSE with an autonomous status including the needed administrative reforms, the only viable solution in the prevailing mess. G.S Charak, KK Rao, SK Gupta & GT Singh attended the meeting Presided by Deep Singh, President of Association.
