Jammu, Apr 23: An extraordinary meeting of Panch Mandir Committee of Channi Himmat was held under chairmanship of Dr. O.P.Gupta.
Meeting was called to discuss situation arising out of stage managed show organized by three persons with the ulterior motive, vicious and dishonest intentions to grab and capture the management of pious temple of Panch Mandir Channi Himmat thereby causing obstruction in its construction which has made tremendous progress during the last ten months. As a result of hard work of Panch Mandir committee three temples of SHIV PARIVAR; MATA DURGA AND HANUMANJI are almost complete and Committee had decided to launch these temples on 16th May after getting Mahurat clearance from learned priests.
The members expressed deep anguish over the Acting Convener Ram Nath Sharma stabbing the entire Panch Mandir Committee and joining hands with the persons against whom there were serious charges of financial irregularities and mismanagement and who were indicted by the Accounts Scrutiny Committee in its report submitted to the temple management.
