Jammu, Apr 25: Congress workers led by Narinder Gupta, Ex-general secretary Pradesh Youth Congress held a protest demonstration at Shaheedi Chowk, Jammu to register their protest against the excesses of the police force deployed at the Residency Road.
Speaking on the occasion, Gupta said that the Congress leaders and workers who visit party HQ are facing hardships for parking their vehicles and have to face the wrath of the police. He said that the police in the name of 'movement' gives rough treatment to the general public and unnecessary harassment to the Congress workers who visit party HQ, daily.
He demanded that the police force deployed on the Residency road, should restrain and take care of the common man while discharging their duties.
