| Jodhamal students celebrate "Bal Sabha" | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 24: Jodhamal Public School (JMPS) celebrated its first open house for class-I "Bal Sabha" in its Amphitheatre here today. The aim of the programme was to put at ease the parents who have sent their children into a new school. The programme started with a welcome address by the Principal, Krishna Bhati. She welcomed the parents with a thought provoking story. It was followed by the students of class I performing action songs. Dr Chand Trehan, the school counselor and Educational Advisor, had an interactive session with the spellbound audience. The fact that many fathers had taken time out from their busy schedules to attend the function, was highly appreciated. She encouraged the parents to air their views, which they did. It was another feather in the cap for JMPS as the Bal Sabha was a huge success. The session ended with the serving of snacks to the parents and an interactive open house session with the Junior Section Co-ordinator, Varnika Ghosh aand all the class teachers of class-I.
