Agencies Mumbai, Apr 25: To avoid leaks and delays, University vice chancellor decides that question papers will be emailed just half an hour before exams Fed up of delays that cause exams to be postponed, like last week's Mumbai University's TY BCom exams that had to be pushed ahead because the question papers were not printed on time, Dr Chandra Krishnamurthy, acting vice chancellor, Mumbai University, and vice chancellor, SNDT University, is taking things into her own hands by deciding to implement a system where question papers will be emailed simultaneously to all centres just 30 minutes before the exam. A common password will allow centres to access the mail. On Saturday, the system was implemented for the first time during the B.Ed exams held at SNDT University on Saturday. And it went off well. "The question papers were emailed at 10.30 am to all centres across Mumbai, rural Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Orissa.
