| 24 bovine animal rescued, six held | | | Early Times Report Kathua, Apr 25: Rajbagh police has arrested six bovine smugglers and rescued twenty four bovine animal in different nakas laid in different areas. Rajbagh police under the supervision of SDPO Border Sukhdev Raj Bhasin during naka checking at Rajbagh at Latpunu village arrested four bovine smugglers and rescued twelve bovine animals.They have been identified as Murad Ali son of Boby resident of Raipur,Gul Hussain son of Sayad Din resident of Samba,Ali Hussain son of Nur Din resident of Tanda and Hansraj sonof Bindu Ram resident of Majalta.A case under FIR number 86/2010 has been registered against them. Meanwhile in another incident two bovine smugglers identified Mohd Sharif son of Baldin and Buta Ram son of Dina Ram residents of Chang have been arrested by the same police and twelve bovine animal have been rescued from their possession. They were arrested in a naka checking laid at village Lashipur. During their interrogation they told police that they were carrying the bovine animal to Srinagar for slaughter but before they could succeed in their plan they were caught hold off. Police has registered a case in this connection against them. They have been booked under FIR No 87/2010.
