| Data Sher Singh Club enters group-D final | | JKPL T20 Tournament | | Early Times Report JAMMU, April 25: With their consecutive win, a lesser known Data Sher Singh Saini Criket Club (DSSSCC) today made it to the final beating Arin Construction and Engineering Club by 10 runs in the ongoing Jammu Kashmir Premier League Twenty20 Tournament at different venues here today. In the semi-final match of group-D, DSSSCC set a target of 138 runs for the loss of nine wickets, which, in reply, Arin Construction could not chase and bowled out for 128 runs in 19.4 overs. Nishant was top scorer with 28-ball 39 runs including a six and six boundaries while Sushant and Amarpreet contributed 24 and 16 runs respectively. From Arin Constructions, Shafqat Baba and Moyiz took three wickets, followed by Babbaer Moughal and Jamsheed, who shared apiece each. In reply, Arin Construction could make only 128 runs in 19.4 overs when their whole side bowled out. Babber Moughal made maximum 44 runs off 25 deliveries and Tahir contributed 37. Sushant and Ashok claimed three and two wickets respectively from DSSSCC. For his match winning innings, Sushant Dutta was declared man of the match. In another match of the day, Extreme Cricket Club defeated General Bajinder Singh Club by three wickets. Earlier, batting first after winning the toss, Extreme Club set a target of 117 runs for the loss of nine wickets in 20 overs, which, General Bajinder Club could chase and bowled out for 113 runs. Shiv Dutt Sharma was adjudged man of the match. In an interesting match of the day, registered club with JKCA, Patel Cricket Club was beaten by the Samba boys playing for Brig. Rajinder Singh Club by eight wickets. Earlier, batting first, Patel Cricket Club bowled out for 142 runs in 19.5 overs, which, in reply, Brig. Rajinder Club chased the total in 18.2 overs losing only two wickets. Atul Sharma played magnificent innings of 52-ball 72 runs including nine boundaries while Ankush and Radhey Sharma contributed 22 and 25 (not out) runs respectively. For his match winning performance, Atul was declared man of the match.
