| Association to launch chess academy | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Apr 25: To further promote the game of chess, the All Jammu and Kashmir Chess Association is going to launch an exclusive and independent chess academy on April 27. To be established at Hotel Nek in Gumat area of the city in the name and style of `Mind Games Chess Academy', the first of its kind facility would be training the young boys and girls of below 16 years of age. "To begin with, we have decided to engage two senior players, Sumit Grower and Ritwan Sontra for training at least 20 upcoming players in a 90-minute evening class on week-ends," general secretary of the Association, Baldev Raj.
