| Library of TASC of Education inaugurated | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 25: Newly constructed library complex of Thakur Anant Singh College (TASC) of Education Sainik Colony Jammu was inaugurated today.
Dr Rajeev Gupta, Director College Development Council, University of Jammu, inaugurated the library in the presence of Sham Singh, Chairman, Onkar Seth,Vice-Chairman, Dr Nirmal Seth, Secretary, Parimoksh Seth, Member, Harish Singh, Member, Diwakar Singh, Principal, staff and students of the college.
Dr Rajeev Gupta while speaking on the occasion appreciated the management and staff of the college for providing the students the modern library containing all the relevant books and said that the management of the College should continue with the development of infrastructure in the college.
Dr Rajeev Gupta said that the Private B Ed colleges are playing a very important and useful role in the field of education and are providing quality education to more than 20,000 students who were coming to Jammu from different parts of India including Punjab, Haryana , Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand. Dr Gupta said that these students who were pursuing the B Ed in Jammu are the brand ambassadors of university of Jammu and the private B Ed colleges and hoped that the students after going back to their respective states will provide quality education to the students there.
Diwakar singh principal read the welcome address while Sham Singh Chairman and Onkar Seth vice-chairman of the management committee also spoke on the occasion. Dr Nirmal Seth Secretary presented the vote of thanks.
