| Court granted interim bail to Supt Central Jail | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr 26: Court of 3rd Additional Sessions Judge granted interim bail to Mirza Saleem Ahmed Beigh presently Supt Central Jail Kot-Bhalwal against whom FIR was lodged with the P/S Women Cell Jammu u/s 498-A RPC in demand of dowry case. While granting interim bail presiding of Third Additional Sessions Court directed APP to get report from the concerned police station and submit the same along with his objections. Court further directed that in the even of arrest of the petitioner, he shall be enlarged on bail till next date of hearing subject to furnishing surety and personal bond to the tune of Rs 5000. In bail application filed by Mirza Saleem Ahmed Beigh for grant of bail submitted that relations of the petitioner and his ex-wife had gone sour. The petitioner expressed triple Talak and dissolved the marriage in the month of June 2009. The petitioner reduced the triple Talak into writing and handed it over to the said wife. Thereafter he sent another pronouncement by registered post on June 30, 2009 to his wife which was duly received by her. The petitioner and his first wife have been living separately since June 9, 2009. It was also submitted in the bail application that the petitioner got the name of first wife deleted from the ration card and got married to Rehana Kouser on February 6, 2010 and seeking bail. ----JNF
