| Energetic lighting launches products in J&K | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Apr, 26: Energetic Lighting India Pvt. Ltd. launched energy saving lamps (CFL) Lights in J&K here today. Speaking on the occasion, Astt. General Manager Company T.S. Oberoi said that company is one of the largest manufactures of energy saving lamps in the world and the largest in Asia with the annual production of over 300 million lamps.
The product range includes electronic energy saving retrofit and non retrofit lamps, linear Fluorescent T5 lamps also produces a wide range of energy saving luminaries.
Asserting that the effects of global warning started being felt, Bharat Gupta of M/S Bharat Electronics said that beside many factors ordinary incandescent lamps have also contributed to the increasing world phenomenon. Only about give percent of electrical energy consumed by these bulbs is converted into light, he said adding, the rest in released to the surroundings as heat.
