Lucky Star, KCCC win ties in JKPL T20

JAMMU, Apr 26: Lucky Star Cricket Club (LSCC) registered an eight wickets win over MR Cricket Club in a match played at MA Stadium here today in the ongoing Jammu Kashmir Premier League Twenty20 Cricket Tournament at different venues, here.
Earlier, batting first, after MR Club won the toss and opted to field, LSCC set a target of 132 runs for the loss of five wickets, which, in reply, MR Club could not chase and could make 124 runs losing eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Vijay, who played superb unbeaten innings of 52 runs, was adjudged man of the match.
In another match, Shashi guided KCCC to big 146 runs win against Extreme Cricket Club Kathua in a one-sided contest that took place at University of Jammu ground, here.
Earlier, after winning the toss and decided to field, Extreme Cricket Club allowed KCCC to raise a big total of 214 runs for the loss of four wickets and later failed to chase and bowled out for just 68 runs in 12.3 overs.
Shashi Kumar was declared man of the match for his match winning six-wicket haul.

Bowling: Mayank (04 -0-31-02); NIshant (02-0-18-01); Kamaljeet (02 -0-14-01) Extreme Club: Pankaj 18; Kamaljeet 16. Bowling: Shashi Kumar (04-0-16-06); Raman Dutta (04-02-08-02); Manik Gupta (0.3-0-0-02). At GGM Science College hostel ground here, Young Star Cricket Club today defeated Bharti Infratel Cricket Club (BICC) by eight wickets to move into next round. Batting first BICC bowled out for 97 runs in 17.5 overs, which, in reply, Young Star chased in just 8.2 overs losing two wickets. Neeraj was declared man of the match for his excellent bowling.
