| Militants hideout busted, RDX found in J&K | | | JAMMU: Security forces on Sunday foiled militants' plan to trigger blasts during Diwali by recovering nearly three kg of RDX and other explosive materials in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said.
During a search operation, troops busted a hideout in Derarain forest belt of Poonch district and recovered 2.88 kg of RDX, five grenades, 12 detonators, two IEDs, they said.
The explosive was meant to trigger blasts on the eve of Diwali festival in Poonch district, they said adding that the plan has been foiled with the recovery. |
