| Woman dies of doctors' 'negligence' | | | Early Times Report Rajouri, April 27: A woman suffering from some disease, who was admitted in Sub Centre Dalori near Rajouri died allegedly due to the negligence of doctors. The woman identified as Pawan Kumari wife of Babu Ram of village Dalori in Rajouri district breathed her last in the Sub-Centre Dalori, which according to the family members of the deceased was allegedly closed on working hours today. "I brought my wife to Sub-Cetre Dalori at about 11AM in the morning but no body was there. The Centre was locked. Tehre was no ambulance", Babu Ram said adding "We wait for some time but nobody opened the hospital which resulted in death of my wife". The body of lady was brought to District Hospital Rajouri where after conductiong post-mortum; it was handed over to the relatives. However, relatives alleged that the lady died due to negligence of doctors posted in the hospital. "This is routine matter of the doctors in the area who remain always absent from duty", Babu Ram said. Chief Medical Officer Rajouri Dr Vaid Sharma when contacted expressed his ignorance about the alleged negligence of doctors. "I am not aware about such case", he said. However added that he will investigate and if some doctors are found guilty, action will be initiated against them.
