| Saroori kick starts work on Bhaderwah-Chamba road | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT BHADERWAH, Apr 27: Minister for R&B, G.M.Saroori, today, kick started work on 60 km Bhaderwah-Chamba road to be completed at a cost of Rs. 70 crore besides inspecting ongoing work of 100 bed Bhaderwah hospital and blood bank being constructed in the old hospital Bhaderwah. MLC, Naresh Kumar Gupta, Commissioner Secretary, R&B Mehboob Iqbal and senior engineers of R&B accompanied the Minister. The Minister instructed the engineers and executing agency to accelerate the work on Blood Bank Block to ensure its completion within next fifteen days. The Minister also visited 100 beds hospital building at Bhaderwah and asked the J&K Project Construction Corporation to ensure that one block of the hospital will be ready within next three months. HE also inspected the construction work on Saroal Bagh road and asked the engineers to start work on Sari-Tikri road immediately. While inspecting under execution work on Bus Stand Bhaderwah, the Minister instructed the engineers to ensure that work is completed within one month. Saroori also took stock of work on Guest House being constructed by Bhaderwah Development Authority at Duligarh at a cost of Rs. 2.76 crore. The project has been taken up to create basic infrastructure for promotion of tourism in the area. Enroute, several deputations called on the Minister and apprised him about their problems besides seeking an immediate redressal. Responding to the demand of upgradation of High School Sari to Higher Secondary level, Saroori assured them that the matter would be taken up with the concerned authorities for consideration.
