| JKNPP alleges 'step motherly' treatment with Kishtwar villages | | | Sarita Jamwal EARLY TIMES REPORT UDHAMPUR, Apr 27: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers party has expressed concern over the 'step motherly' treatment given by administration to Kishtwar villages in terms of development and has threatened to launch agitation if the genuine demands of villagers were not met. Party held a meeting here under the president ship of District President Anil Parihar in which a large number of party workers of Village Bhoop Nagar, Kuleed and Wasar participated. Speaking on the occasion, Om Parkash, Secretary of the party, alleged that administration has totally neglected Bhop Nagar, Kuleed and Waser villages in respect of development which are lacking basic facilities like drinking water, Power and roads. He added that the condition of building of Village Panchyat Ghar of Kuleed built only two years back is so bad that stray animals could be witnessed moving inside the premises as it has no boundary wall. Party members alleged that due to apathy of administration and government the medical dispensary started a year before to provide medical facilities is till date non-functional and despite repeated requests nothing has been done so far. The condition of lanes and drains and roads is also in dilapidated condition. Panthers activists further alleged that administration and local MLA are turning deaf ears towards villagers' problems.
