| Reasi, Udhampur sport climbing meets from May 1 | | |

JAMMU, Apr 28: Mountaineering Association of J&K in collaboration with Sprawling Buds School, Chinore here shall be conducting the 3rd Reasi and 6th Udhampur District Sport Climbing Championship on May one and May two respectively.
About 100 climbers each from Reasi and Udhampur districts are likely to compete in these championships, a handout issued here today said.
The competitions shall be held on the 40 ft high Tenzing Norgay Sport Climbing wall in the Sprawling Buds School complex, in six categories of men, women, boys, girls, sub junior boys and girls. Since it shall be a maiden venture for most of the participants from Reasi and Udhampur, the competitions shall be conducted with top rope.
"All clubs affiliated with the Mountaineering Association of J&K, other adventure organizations, schools and colleges and even individual participants from Reasi and Udhampur districts can participate in the competitions," said general secretary of the Association.
The Association has fixed Rs 100 as entry fee which includes lunch and refreshment also.
Each participant shall be awarded a participation certificate also. On the spot registration shall also be open at Sprawling Buds School from 7.30 am to 8.30 am on the day of competition.
