| Youth crushed to death | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Udhampur, Apr 28: A pedestrian youth who was walking off the road side was crushed to death by a speedy truck near Dak Banglow on highway Udhampur. Critically injured youth was shifted to military hospital where he succumbed to injuries.
According to police reports a speedy truck bearing No. JK02S-7009 was coming from Jammu for Srinagar while reached near Dak Banglow Udhampur crushed a youth who was walking on the off side the road. Blood ridden youth was shifted to district hospital and on being serious hr was shifted to the Military Hospital where he succumbed to death. Receiving the information police party headed by SHO Arvind Singh Sambyal rush to the spot and shifted the dead body to the hospital and identified victim as 21 year years Pawan Kumar S/O Suram Chand R/O village Fhangyal in Udhampur. Police headed over the dead body to his family members after conducting postmortem to perform last rites. Police registered the case and launched investigation.
