JAMMU, Apr 28: District health officer (DHO), Ganderbal, was Tuesday placed under suspension for his alleged involvement in making illegal appointments during his tenure as deputy chief medical officer (CMO), Srinagar.
Ganderbal DHO Mohammad Maqbool Sheikh was suspended for his alleged involvement in making illegal appointments during his tenure as deputy CMO, Srinagar, official sources said.The government ordered his suspension last evening pending inquiry
into allegations of illegal appointments, transfers and promotions by him, the sources added. Sheikh took over as DHO of Ganderbal, the home constituency of chief minister Omar Abdullah, last year.
