| Rafiq Shah, MLC appointed President Young Panthers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 28: Chairman, Jammu Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) Prof Bhim Singh has appointed Member Legislative Council (MLC) Syed Rafiq Shah from Kashmir as President of State Yuva Panthers (Young Panthers), the youth wing of party with an immediate effect. Vilakshan Singh Lotus, Advocate shall be the State General Secretary while Kishan Singh Bedi of Tral (Kashmir) is the Vice President. Syed Rafiq Shah hails from conflict-torn District of Kupwara, a student of law and sitting Member of Legislative Council. According to a press handout, the party leadership has described Shah's elevation as the youth head of the Panthers Party has sent a clear signal to the youth of Jammu and Kashmir to get ready for the final battle led by Prof Bhim Singh and his colleagues against corruption, communalism, terrorism and discrimination. The reconstitution of the committee of Young Panthers has been welcomed by all the legislators and the members of the secretariat and the working committee. The 'trio' is authorized to reorganize its state and district committees.
