Jammu, Apr 29: The nine member ICELA delegation from Jammu currently on visit to Uttrakhand to study environment issues visited Gorests Research institute and Wadia institute at Dehradun today. The delegation headed by Convenor ICELA J &K Chapter, Ashok Sharma interacted with the authorities of both the institute about their research finding in regard to conversation of environment and addressing the challenges of global warming. He also studied the measures being taken under Ganga Action Plan for its conversation and ensuring against any move to pollute this holy river. The delegation also visited Eco-Ashram setup by MC.Mehta Foundation top apprise the students accompanying form Jammu about the functioning of the Ashram and its contribution in generating awareness about environment protection on sustainable basis. The delegation comprises Mrs. Neelam Sharma, Arjun Sharma, Sujata Singh, Insha Indris, Namijan, Rupali Sharma and Himanshu Shrama.
