| PDP exploiting public sentiments: Slathia | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 28: Lambasting the opposition PDP leadership for exploiting the sentiments of innocent and peace loving people of the State for gaining political mileage. He advised them not to be impatient on losing power and forget day dreaming till the present Coalition completes its term. He said that people are wise enough and will reject them in the next elections also. The Minister was addressing a public meeting at Jatti in Assar block of Doda district, after formally reopening local Gypsum Mine which was earlier closed due to some problem. He said the resumption of mining of Gypsum reserves will create ample opportunities of employment for local people . Responding to the demand of setting up of a cement plant in the area for which raw material is available in abundance locally, Slathia said invited private investors for setting up the plant and assured that the willing entrepreneur would be given certain incentives available under State Industrial Policy.Provincial President National Conference, R. L. Gupta also spoke on the occasion and expressed thanks to Slathia for reopening the Gypsum Mine . He said this will provide opportunity to more than 200 people of the area to earn their livelihood.
