| BJP for registration of case against Dr Abdullah | | | Jammu, Oct 15: Reacting to the statement of former chief minister Dr Farooq Abdullah, wherein he had opposed the death penalty to Parliament attack accused Afzal Guru, Bhartiya Janta Party today demanded registration of a case of criminal conspiracy and slapping of Public Safety Act against him. In a press statement here today, the party alleged that the statement of Dr Abdullah speaks his links with separatists and militant organizations. A case for hatching criminal conspiracy be registered against Abdullah and he be lodged under Public Safety Act, the statement demanded. Chief Patron of National Conference and former Chief Minister Dr Abdullah had told Karan Thappar on CNN IBN, during a interview, that the death sentence to Afzal Guru would create an unrest throughout the nation.
