JCUM mobilises public for Jammu bandh

JAMMU, Apr 29: Continuing its tirade against the government for turning a deaf ear towards Jammu and mobilizing support for Jammu Bandh on May 1, for getting appointed local Vice-Chancellor of Central University, Jammu, Jammu Central University Morcha (JCUM) leaders interacted with different social, transporter trader and political organizations with an appeal to observe on May 1, 2010 for the unity, solidarity and cause of Jammu.
Over whelmed by the response of people and different organizations, JCUM stated that public at large is the ultimate authority and those entrusted to defend the rights of people if ultimately fails would have to face the wrath of same public who earlier posed faith in them.
It also warned the Government of India to desist from playing with the sentiments of people, influenced by Kashmiris, otherwise situation would be explosive and disastrous and appealed the MPs from Jammu to use their influence in prevailing upon the concerned quarters as their role in the past, on this issue, has been appreciable and commendable.
The Morcha appreciated both the MPs from Jammu for continuously taking up the issue and cautioning the govt of India regarding the brewing resentment among Jammuities.
JCUM leaders, in a fervent appeal to the people, urged them to observe voluntary bandh on May 1 so that nefarious designs of anti-Jammu forces could be defeated and future of our generations could be protected.
Those participated included Sh Uday Chand (President DPP), Capt. Anil Gour (VP, JSM), Rajiv Chuni (SOS International), Rajinder Jamwal (PRM), Rampal Sharma (DLF), Ram Rattan Raina (Sangram Sewa), Kuldeep Chib (JJSF).
