| Redress grievances of Tathri people | | | Early times Report Jammu, Apr 29: President Tehsil Thathri Development Front. Kuldeep sing Rao urged the state Government immediately redress the grievances of the people of Tehsil Thathri due to the non-delivery of ration. He said dealers blame the store keepers. They may kindly be strictly warned and also ordered to make the supply of ration regular and uninterrupted. Electric and water supply is also erratic in some villages like Hagoona, Joura Kalan, Joura Khurd, Panshaee and Chiralla, Jia, Bola, Kunthal, Surganga and people are facing great hardships on this account KLC Doda Naresh Gupta has already highlighted this problem In the Assembly. PHE Minister had also instructed concerned SE & Xen Doda to take necessary action but till date no appropriate action has so far taken. The second problems concerns the aligment of Kahara-Jai road from Halaran on wards G.K. Sroori Minister is requested to stick to the alignment as originally surveyed in 1987 and later upheld by ERA in the beginning so that the Dalit villages Suranga and Kunthal can also get benefit of this road. He said the militancy affected migrants of village Shamdlian, who deserted their village in 1997, have not been able to return home so far. Now the situation has sufficiently improved and also there is a permanent STF post in the village, so the inhabitants want to returns to their native place, but the financial position of some families is very weak. They can neither afford to reconstruct their collapsed houses nor cultivable their lands which have during these thirteen years turned into bushy barren stretches. These families require financial help for getting rehabilitated so that their woes are mitigated.
