Jammu, Apr 29: MLA Radhay Sahm Sharma, Nowshera constituency has urged upon Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control Taj Mohi-ud-Din immediately release liberal funds for the deployment of water tankers, tractor trolleys for the construction of deep bore tube wells in the Nowshera Constituency to avert the crisis of acute shortage fo drinking water. He in a statement said that the general public of the Constituency are facing great hardships for want of drinking water due to delayed rains and drought like situation prevailing these days, demanded that necessary directions should be issued immediately to the District Administration of Rajouri for properly monitoring to provide drinking water supplies regularly to the general public at their door step to avoid fatalities as people form, the far-flung areas of Nowshera Constit-uency are even ready to migrate to near the rivers, Sharma also appealed to Chief Minister Omar Abdu-llah and Ministers, of consumers Affairs and public Distribution System, Revenue Relief and Rehabi-litation Departments, Agric-ulture Minister for Provi-ding free Ration to all the family members of the affected farmers of his constituency, whose present crops also failed due to delayed rains and also stressed upon the Govt. To sanction free to cost Seeks and Fertilizers to all the affected farmers of Nows-hera Constituency for sowing their future crops for their sustenance.
