| Record of BOSE, CEO office seized in paper leakage scam | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 29: In the follow up operations in the much publicised question paper leakage scam, police today took into custody a private school principal, besides seizing record of BOSE and office of chief education officer (CEO). Police sources said the sustained investigation into the case today led police to the arrest of a private school principal at R S Pura. His involvement had also figured in the paper leakage scam, the sources added. Sources said police teams today simultaneously carried out searches in BOSE and CEO office, seizing the record for scrutiny. During the checking of record at BOSE, police found that joint secretary (examinations) had held his post for the past three years. As he engaged staff for giving exams of 10th and 12th classes, he was likely to be grilled by police, the sources added. Sources said police had seized the CEO office record as it became known to them during the course of investigation that the same set of teachers was being engaged by CEO for exam duty for the past three years. Meanwhile, court had rejected the bail plea of the already arrested persons -- cop Ajay Kumar, cop Manjeet Singh, Balbir Singh and Gurdev Singh, both teachers.
