| Charak inaugurates IIHT centre | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Apr 30: Former Minister and President Dogra Sadar Sabha today inaugurated franchisee centre of Indian Institute of Hardware and Technology (IIHT) at Dogra Hall today. Speaking on the inaugural occasion, Gulchain Singh Charak said that this initiative shall provide tremendous career oriented opportunities to the youth of the state, adding that there is a strong need for career oriented technical courses because of their potential to generate employment as well as create entrepreneurial opportunities. Manish Pathania, Director, Care Infosys informed that through this initiative a unique blend of technical competence shall be made available to the students of Jammu. He informed that IIHT offers Advanced Certified Hardware and Networking Professional Course, ACHNP, which is a well structured course that is suitable for all students who have completed their 10th standard or above. Amit Pathania, Director, Care College informed that all the courses of IIHT are dynamically updated to ensure that students are kept abreast of latest developments in the relevant technologies. "IIHT centers offer courses on MS products through our Microsoft Certified Partner for Learning Solutions (MS-CPLS). IIHT is one of the largest Authorized Education partner for EMC in India and offers a range of EMC Education Services on storage technology for 'Open' curriculum programs and certifications," Pathania said. Later in the day two separate career seminars were organized where over 350 students participated. The presentations were given by the officials from IIHT, Bangalore and IIHT, New Delhi. Sankarna, Vice-President, IIHT, Anil Kalia, Regional Manager, IIHT, Sunil Arora, Regional Director, IIHT, Virender Slathia, Director, IIHT Franchisee Centre (Samba) and Anil Thapa, Director, IIHT Franchisee Centre (Udhampur) were also present.
