5/1/2010 12:01:20 AM
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Apr 30: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayat, Law and Parlia-mentary Affairs, Ali Moha-mmad Sagar has condemned the incident in which one Shafiq Ahmed Sheikh resident of Natipora, working in J&K State Board of School Education died due to stone-pelting by some un-identified persons at Batamalloo today. Sagar said that this incident has once again brought into focus the dreaded face of stone-pelters, some of which were also responsible for killing of an infant at Baramulla previously as well.
He said that people should understand the anti-state and anti-people activities of these vested interests that are bent upon to destroy the peace, tranquility and economy of the state. Appealing the people to come forward and thwart the evil and nefarious designs of these unwarranted elements, the Minister said that they should adopt a pro-active role so that the designs of these anti-social elements can be defeated.
