| Slathia, Malik address workers rallies | | |

JAMMU, May 1: Minister for Industries and Commerce, S S Slathia and Minister for Higher Education, Labour and Employment, Abdul Gani Malik addressed a mammoth workers rally at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu on Labour Day rally organized by J&K State Central Labour Union Jammu.
Speaking on the occasion, Slathia assured the participants for improvement of labour and other employees working conditions for those working in government as well as in private sector. He also assured that the long pending demand of the PSU employees for conversion of COLA into DA is under active consideration of the government and shall be fulfilled shortly.
President State Central Labour Union, Jammu, Naar Singh presented charter of demands before the Ministers.
Later, Slathia also addressed a May Day rally at Samba organized by PHE workers association Samba.
Among others Provincial President Jammu NC, Rattan Lal Gupta and Senior Vice President State Central Labour Union, Jagmohan Sadhotra also addressed the rally.
