| 27 inmates of home for aged, infirm return from pilgrimage | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 2: A group of 27 inmates of home for aged and infirm, Amphalla return back after visiting Haridwar and Rishikesh. The group left this place on April 25 and return safely on April 30. The pilgrimage tour was flagged off by vice president Prof. (Dr.) Vidya Nath Gupta. At Haridwar they were the honoured guests of Jammu Yatri Bhawan, which besides providing them comfortable lodging and wholesome four meals also provided transport and other facilities for visiting various temples and other sacred places of religious importance he paying their obeisance as well as holy dip in pious river Ganga at Haridwar and Rishikesh without any cost. Most of the inmates including Anant Ram aged 85 years and Kamla Devi aged 76 years and workers were lucky to visit these sacred places for the first time in their life and were quite happy and grateful to the management for the same. On returning back to the home at Jammu these pilgrimages were given a warm reception by the management and other inmates of the home. They fully enjoyed the tour and expressed their satisfaction with all the appropriate arrangements made for their travel and other facilities during the entire tour. Er. Vijay Bhagotra, honorary secretary of the home expressed his gratitude to Jammu Yatri Bhawan, particularly its president Pawan Shastri for providing all facilities and comforts to elderly persons during the pilgrimage tour. The tour was led by Er. BB Gupta.
