| Residents protest Govt apathy | | | Early Times Report Kathua, May 2: A massive protest demonstrated by residents of Nagri Parole under leadership of ex president Municipal Committee Nagri Surjit Kumar was exhibited against local administration and government for its apathy. Rijy Kumar, Niju Andotra, Rajan Gupta, and Bodh Raj blamed that administration is deliberately ignoring development of 1 km link road from Kathua to Nagri, and Narote Jamel Sing to Pali Morh. They said that Nagri is a historical and religious place and have unique religious places like famous ancient temple of Mata Balasundari and biggest pilgrimage in its adjoining area known as Aerava in Mini Haridwar and lakhs of pilgrims pave visits every year from all parts of the India. They further said that newly established toll plaza at Nagri is busiest point on the road. Parole needed to be squarely developed, as it requires attention of government and local administration. Road is under burden of traffic but due to its narrow dimension and worse condition it is not capable to address the problem being faced by the people. Surjit Kumar and other protestors urged upon the administration and government to take immediate steps to develop roads network in Nagri for betterment of the locality.
