| VREA deputation meets MD SRTC | | |
EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 2: A deputation of Volunteer Retired Employees Association (VREA) under the leadership of Dev Raj Bali met Managing Director and the Joint Managing Director J&K SRTC Jammu and discussed their long pending issues with them.
They demanded for early payment of CPF and Fifth Pay Commission arrears since 1997.
As per the press statement, the MD and JMD SRTC failed to give assurance the delegation saying that they have not money to clear their dues and would be cleared only when the Central Government would pay the funds.
They requested to the State government to come to their rescue and save them from the clutches of J&K SRTC management and Additional Provident Fund Commissioner by clearing by dues otherwise they would demonstrate in the office of Additional Provident Fund Commissioner.
The deputation comprised of Prem Nath, B.V Sharma, D.N Sharma, Dushayant Kumar and Balwinder Singh.
