| Vichar Kranti manch hails government decisions | | | Early Times Report Jammu, May 3: The Vichar Kranti Manch International (VKMI) in a meeting presided over by founder of VKMI Dr R R Khajuria to discuss important decisions taken by the government. It was unanimously decided in the meeting to hail the land mark decisions taken by the government not to withdraw ESMA cases and not to roll back on no work no pay policy related to striking government employees. Khajuria on the occasion made an appeal to the CM not to succumb to pressure from any quarter to dilute the decision taken by the five member cabinet sub- committee. He further appreciated the decision to frame a sound transfer policy and decentralize powers of officers at different level. As per press release VKMI holds the view that this drastic measure will put an end to political and bureaucratic corruption to significant extent. It lauded the thrust laid by Omar on transparency, accountability and justice without any influence in the process of recruitment and selections of candidates for various government posts. All these measures to depoliticalize the administration are bound to prove harbinger of peace in the state. However members expressed their views that VKMI shall continue to function as the watch dog to oversee that these decisions do not remain on papers as usual but are translated into action on ground. Prominent members who attended the meeting were DK Sharma, Om Parkash, Yash Paul, Ram Rattan, Madan Mohan etc.
