| Several delegations call on Soz | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
SRINAGAR, May 3: Sev-eral delegations from across Kashmir Valley today called on J&K Pradesh Congress Committee president Prof Saifuddin Soz and explained their problems to him. Prof Soz took notice of these problems and ensured their resolution at various levels. The delegation from Charar-i-Sharief was led by Gulam Nabi Mir Lasjan-General Secretary PCC, Master Mohammad Maq-bool- Member Working Committee PCC and Abdul Gani Sodagar, a prominent citizen of Charar-i-Sharief.
Among various demands the delegation stressed the requirement of instituting a Degree College at Charar-i-Sharief and urged Prof Soz to fulfill his promise to support their demand. Prof Soz assured the delegation that the J&K government would pay greater attention to Charar-i-Sharief and he would take up the demand for a degree college at Charar-i-Sharief with the Chief Minister soon after the offices open in Srinagar.
Prof. Soz also accepted the invitation to visit Charar-i-Sharief in the near future.
