| Militants attack surrendered rebel's house in Kashmir | | |
JAMMU, OCT 15
Militants attacked the house of a surrendered rebel with grenades in Doda district, officials said.
The militants hurled two grenades late last night at the house of surrendered militant Nissar Ahmed at Gowari village, they said.
One grenade went off in the compound of the house while the other did not explode after hitting a window. There was no loss of life or damage to property.
Police and army personnel rushed to the area and recovered the live grenade and defused it. The troops launched a cordon and search operation to track down the militants, they said.
