| White Knight Corps to hold Ex-Servicemen Rally on May 11 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 4: An Ex-Servicemen Rally is being organized under the aegis of White Knight Corps at Sainik School Nagrota on May 11. Chief Minister Omar Abdullah will be the chief guest during the rally. Lt Gen Gen BS Jaswal, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief Northern Command, Lt Gen Rameshwar Roy, General Officer Commanding 16 Corps along with other senior civil and military dignitaries will also be present during the occasion. The rally will aim to raise the level of awareness among the ex-servicemen and war widows on various welfare measures, financial schemes and other provisions that exist for their benefit. Measures to address the grievances of ex-servicemen would also be explained during the rally to give them a speedy redressal on various pending issues. A large number of stalls with information on health, education, welfare etc would be established. In addition, on the spot medical facilities would also be provided for those who want to avail expertise of specialized medical officers. All ex-servicemen from the region of Nagrota, Katra, Jammu, Udhampur and adjoining areas are cordially invited on behalf of the White Knight Corps for the rally. Their kind presence is requested at Sainik School Nagrota on May 11. Due to security reasons the ex-servicemen are requested to carry their identity documents to enable entry into the rally premises.
