| IGP gives cash award to retiring police officials | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 4: Recognizing his services being rendered to the Police Department, the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Security Dr. Ram Lubhaya presented a cheque of Rs. Three thousand to Sub Inspector (retired) Mohammad Yaqoob as a retirement gift in a retirement function held here on May 2, 2010.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ram Lubhaya said that the officer worked with dedication during his service, and this cash prize is a token of respect to his services to the department and society.
He also said that this type of awards and honors inspires other policemen to follow this tradition.
