| Sameer is new Gen Secy of NSUI Jammu Distt | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, May 4: Sameer Bakshi, a student of Law Department of Jammu University, has been appointed as General Secretary of National Students' Union of India (NSUI), Jammu district unit.
He has been entrusted with the duty to form units in various institutions in Jammu city.
Sameer has been actively associated with social work and student activism.
He has initiated many protests, dharnas and other processions for cause of students
Newly appointed general secretary joined NSUI as an active worker two years ago and was serving as vice president of Law School, Jammu University. His appointment has been made by Arjun Singh Pathania, state general secretary NSUI on recommendation of state secretary Snigdha Shekhar and with the approval of state president Abdul Rashid Choudhary.
