| LeT man held in Doda | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, May 4: A supporter of Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and close associate of two top Pakistani commanders of the outfit was today apprehended by police from Khatosu near Thathri in Doda. He was identified as Mohammad Hanief. Acting on an intelligence input about his pro-LeT activities in Thathri area, police raided his hideout at Khatosu in the afternoon and arrested him, police sources said. Some incriminating material was recovered from him, the sources added. Hanief was a close associate of LeT commanders -- Abu Ans and Abu Anz -- both residents of Pakistan. They were active in Bhaderwah and Doda mountains. Sources said he worked as a courier and guide of LeT militants. He was also supplying them ration, medicines and other items of daily use to LeT militants in the mountains, the sources added. He was also alleged to have helped LeT militants escape from Khatosu during an encounter with security forces last month. His sustained interrogation was on.
