| Increase in power tariff, JWAM holds protest rally against it | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, May 5: The workers of Jammu west Assembly Movement (JWAM) led by Sunil Dimple hold massive protest rally on busy Amphala-new plot road against the increase in power tariff. Addressing the workers Dimple criticized the coalition Government not full Felling the promise made during election. He said present Govt. is totally failed as No new development is under execution. He said further increase in power tariff is extra burden on poor people, as day by day prices of essential items is touching heights as government has no control to check the prices. He said people of Jammu are being charged higher tariff with compare to Valley. He further said no attention is being paid towards streamlining the traffic system which is datorating day by day. He urged upon the chief Minister Steps on war-footing be taken to improve traffic system in the winter capital. He also demanded construction of more flyovers. Workers who were on dharnas lift it on the assurance of SP traffic Zahid Manhas, who gave assurance that mini buses will pass through Rehari Chungi. Among others who sat on dharna were Dr. Sham Saroop, Mohan lal Sahrma, Manjeet Kumar, Pappu, Khajuria, Ramesh Mahajan, Rajan Kumar, Ramesh Chander, Kohli, Dr. O.P. Jandial, Rajinder Verma, Bansi lal Dogra, Kulwant Sharma, Raj Kumar Gupta.
