| Cop, daughter beaten at Belicharana | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 5: A police constable and his four-year-old daughter were beaten by their two neighbours at Belicharana here today. Cop Mehndi Hassan was sleeping in his house at Belicharana when his neighbours Nazar and Zakir entered his room and allegedly beat him with sticks.
The duo did not spare even his four-year-old daughter, who was also sleeping in the room. They later fled the spot.
Hassan and his daughter were later admitted to the Government Gandhi Nagar hospital for the treatment of their injuries.
Hassan, who at present was posted in Doda police station, later lodged a report with Satwari police station.
Police said both the accused had been arrested and booked under sections 323 and 341 of RPC.
