EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, May 5: JD Institute of Fashion Techn-ology has organized 'Tuka-tech' computer software workshop. Senior faculty member Rajnikant, who besides being in the panel of experts at JD Institute also runs his own buying and production house in Bangladesh, conducted the workshop. He has handled buyers including Zara (TRF, BASIC, KIDS, T-SHIRTS) Pull & Bear, Mango (Knits, Woven, Kids) Next Mayoral, Lupo, DKNY, EVA, Guess ETC and presently working as a Designer in a new brand in New York. Tukatech is a highly technical industrial pattern making software and it is the first time in Jammu that this software has been introduced by JD Institute. During the course of one week Rajnikant would be imparting training to the students as well as the faculty of JD Fashion Institute. Rajnikant has also provided his valuable inputs to the students working on the annual exhibition of JD, which is going to be held on May 14. Speaking on the occasion, Maansi Gupta, Centre Director, JD Fashion Institute Jammu, said that in today's competitive world, it is very important that we keep our students abreast with the latest technology, and JD Fashion Institute will always keep up its endeavour of keeping up with the latest in the fashion world.
