| Inter-school competitions of Verinag zone ends | | |

JAMMU, May 6: Annual inter-school competitions of Verinag zone in district Anantnag concluded today with the holding of prize distribution function in three events of kabddi, kho-kho and volleyball in both boys and girls sections at High School Verinag.
Over 1000 athletes drawn from 35 different schools took part in three events in two age groups of under-14 and under-17 under the guidance of Zonal Physical Education Officer, Verinag, Hira Lal Pandita.
Principal GHSS Verinag, Sheikh Nazir Ahmed was chief guest in the finals and prize distribution function. Headmistress of High School Verinag was guest of honour.
Physical Education Teacher Verinag, Mohd Qureshi and Mohd Iqbal were technical incharge of the competitions. |
