| 16th Jammu District Billiards and Snooker tourney begins | | | Early Times Reporter

The 16th Jammu Distritct Open Snooker and Billiards championship was got under way at Billiards Hall M.A. stadium here today. In the inaugural match in junior Snooker, Dheeraj Goswami outclassed Aseem Ghai by 3-0 frames, 59-22, 65-30 and 64-24. Prominent among those who were present on the inauguration of the championship were Kamal Rohmetra (Vice President), Ajay Sharma (General Secretary), Sanjeev Gupta, Jaideep Manocha and Sheetal Gandotra. The championship has been organized by the J&K Billiards and Snooker Association. Total 64 entries have been received by the association so far. Tomorrow, the matches shall commence at 1 pm at the same venue.
