Early Times Report
Jammu, May 6: In an alleged case of cash for job, a complaint was filed by one Sarbajeet Singh through Adv VK Magoo in which CJM referred complaint to SSP Crime Branch for investigation. SSP Crime Branch returned complaint on grounds that it does not fall within preview of SRO 202. Chief Judicial Magistrate YP Bourney took serious note and said that a bare perusal of complaint reveals that it is a case of fraud of unique nature being practiced by Govt employee in name of Govt officer of rank Director General Prisons and 12 candidates have been defrauded of money to the tune of Rs 3.75 lacs. In nutshell it is apparently is case of cash for job and as such is very much covered under SRO 202.

CJM after hearing Adv VK Magoo for complainant further observed that in view of these allegations Incharge P/S Crime Branch should have register case immediately. The report is therefore unjustified and in this view of the matter complaint is referred back to Incharge P/S Crime Branch for proceeding in accordance with law immediately without any further delay.
