Two vehicles stolen

JAMMU, May 6: The Maruti van of Bansi Lal Gupta, was stolen from outside his Gandhi Nagar residence Wednesday night. The van (JK02AA/2800), parked along with the other vehicles of Gupta outside his residence, was found missing this morning. The matter has been brought to the notice of Gandhi Nagar police station. In another incident, a Swift car (JMU F/9621) was stolen from the parking lot close to the Mahakali temple at Bawa. Police said its owner Raman Kumar of Ustad Mohalla parked his vehicle in the open space in the temple periphery and went to the temple to offer prayers. However, on his return, he found that his car had been stolen. He later lodged a report in this connection with Bagh-e-Bahu police station.
