Jammu, May 6: Vigilance Organization Jammu registers a case against Balbir Singh Patwari Halqa Dabbar Nowshera District Rajouri u/s 5(2) J&K PC Act r/w section 161 RPC on a complaint of one Ashok Kumar of Dabbar. Complainant submitted that accused Patwari demanded bribe of Rs 10,000 for issuance of demarcation papers in favour of him of his land. Complainant further submitted that he approached SDM Nowshera and Tehsildar Nowshera, they forward his application to concerned Patwari namely Balbir Singh who demanded bribe Rs 10,000 out of which complainant paid Rs 3000 but Patwari refused to do his task and further demanded Rs 7000. On May 6, 2010 Patwari Balbir Singh again demanded bribe money Rs 7000, which complainant went to pay under compelling circumstances and seeking legal action against Patwari.
As per complaint of complainants a case was registered and trap team was constituted which caught red-handed Balbir Singh Patwari, while accepting bribe. ---JNF
