| Law School, JU organizes legal awareness camp | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, May 7: The Law School, University of Jammu (JU) organised a one day "Legal Aid and Awareness Camp" in a locality of the Akhnoor town as a part of their academic syllabi. The students of 10th semester actively participated in the camp.
They interacted with the locals of the area and took their interviews with regard to their awareness concerning the benefits of conducting Lok Adalats, Panchayati Raj Act , Information Act , Roshni Act and various employment schemes. D N Abrol, ex- president of the Town Area Committee, Akhnoor and Rajiv Sharma also interacted with the students and helped them with the conduct of the camp. On the occasion, the students were accompanied by their teachers as well. This legal camp was conducted under the able guidance of Director, The Law School, Prof Lalita Parihar, was coordinated by Dr Monica Narang, Assistant Professor and Sachin Bhagat, Cultural Secretary, the Law School
